Review Notes:
These are really good smokes. They are mild but very full of flavor. I have smoked about 100 of these
and have not had a bad one. They always start out spicy and them turn creamy and really
put out alot of smooth smoke. You cannot go wrong with these if you like mild cigars.

Review Notes:
Nice construction, draw was good, and burned evenly. Very satisfying if you're in the mood for a mild smoke. My goto mild cigar has been CAO gold. I had never tried 5 Vegas gold but got a few in a sampler on Cbid. Very similar in smoothness and a lot cheaper than the CAO. These will have a spot in the humidor.

Review Notes:
Very pleasurable. Mild, yes, but caresses the mouth. I know this sounds a little fruity, but that's the only way I can describe the sensation; The smoke is like velvet; I can't put it any other way. Looks, construction, draw, burn are all good. Haven't smoked anything else like it yet.

Review Notes:
This was just a plain ol' good cigar. Nothing fancy. No standout flavors. Just straight 7's. Ash was a bit flakey and untrustworthy, other than that, not much more I can say. Oh, it took too long to burn. No that there's anything inherintly wrong with that, but it was like, I don't know, watching I Love Lucy reruns all afternoon. While you're doing it, you think this OK, but is there something better I could be doing (smoking) with my time?

Review Notes:
There's smoothness in them golds! After smotking heavier smokes I decided the 5 Vegas Gold deserved a try. The remaining ones had almost a year of aging and it seemed like a good time to figure out what this cigar was all about.
I have a business and as a sideline I sell cigars. It's a fringe benefit for me to have a nice variety and I generally find cigar clients among my most engaging customers. That said, I've been smoking exclusively mediums and fulls for the most of this past year. I'd even forgot that I liked this cigar as when someone wants mild I usually tell them to try a Macanudo Gold. Well, after smoking this I know I likely should recommend this right along with the Macanudo, especially since it's almost half the price.
The taste is very agreeable and would be perfect for the nouveau smoker or anyone who prefers mild. The front seems a bit sweet and salty, the middle faintly woody (not musk like in the least) with a quick and clean finish that has just a bit of spice (nutmeg?). Nothing that is at all sour or hard...Just mild and rounded on the edges with the finish being clean.
The appearance isn't the finest as the cigar looks lumpy. Keep in mind though that this is a very light leaf and the leaf itself had no real cosmetic blemishes. It looked dry and not a bit oily but it was squeezable so it was nicely hydrated. The roll did not look very dense, but the beautiful white ash held fairly well and actually looked more dense. So, for me the appearance was overall pretty good in spite of the aforementioned lumpiness. The leaf had a vein structure that was definitely starting to be toothy and healthy. So not the best looking yet it proved to draw and burn well.
Smoothness with a nice light taste at a value price best sums up this stick. The cigar lasted well over an hour so the easy draw was not because of being internally too loosely rolled. Nothing offensive...Period. A nice mild smoke that is very affordable, recommended.
