Review Notes: I received six of these gals as freebies when I purchased my box of Nuggets (reviewed previously). I've smoked three of 'em so far and it's indicative of how a change in shape can make a notable difference. Pre-light, the genuine Connecticut Shade wrappers are attractive to look at and the aroma is very enticing. Construction-wise, the tips are more rounded than pointy, but after snipping, the draw has been perfect every time so far. Post-light, and unlike the Nugget size, the well aged filler in the Torpedo makes itself known right away with bolder flavors of sweet spice, light cedary sweetness, and light molasses. The ash usually hangs on for a full third of the way or more on these as well. While both the Nuggets and Torpedos have all the characteristics of 1st Tier Mild Smokes, I've personally found the Torpedo to be a bit more satisfying. The price point is quite a bit higher in relation, however, so I'm glad mine were freebies. But nevertheless, if you can find a good deal on a box, I would definitely recommend 'em.

Review Notes: I like a stronger cigar, or at least one with some spice, but for a mild stick, this had enough flavor to keep me interested. Great burn and a good draw...wouldnt have asked for much more

Review Notes: These are, hands down, the best value you'll find. Very smooth and mild, not too complex, but tasty. Excellent consistency. A great smoke to offer to your friends who aren't aficionados and might prefer something milder.

Review Notes: Since my last review 9 months ago, I've been around the block with mild cigars and I ended up where I started. These are truly the best value for the money. Among the 10 or so sticks I've smoked, all have had perfect construction, flavor, and burn. The only mild I like better is Perdomo Reserve Champagne, which is a $6+ cigar.
