Review Notes:
I need to start out by saying that I did not allow any downtime before smoking one of these. I believe a review after allowing some time in the humi will be much different. So here is my "strait out of the box" take...
No construction issues. Burned smooth and even with a dark charcoal colored ash (likely due to its young age). It is a well constructed cigar. The cigar has a deep brown corojo wrapper with a few veins. A fairly attractive cigar, but does not stand out like those utilizing the red hue corojo.
The flavor was one of the most unique flavors I have experienced. I cant say that I did or did not enjoy the flavor, only that it was different. Pepin loves his ligero leaves, and they are evident in this cigar. Where as in most Pepin cigars, the ligero presents itself in a sort of dry peppery bite to the tungue, in this cigar it resembles more of a black cherry flavor without the sweetness. There are hints of charred meat evident as well. I did not get the cream that some have mentioned, however, once again, that is likely due to the lack of aging.
Ultimately the best thing I can say is that this is not one of those "strait out of the box" cigars. Aging should help blend the flavors, remove some of the "rawness", tame the ligero, and produce a fine cigar for the money.
I have a feeling that about 6 months in the humidor will do wonders for this cigar.

Review Notes:
Smoked quite a few of these in various sizes, less spice than other Pepin blends. A solid smoke that I pick up with great regularity. Very good construction, burn and draw is fine. Good cigar IMHO.

Review Notes:
You can tell the cigar is a Pepin blend. It has the same basic flavor profile.
The flavor, as best as I could describe it, would be on the oaky side with subtle notes of black pepper and some charcoal mixed in for good measure. The word "toasty" comes to mind, but there is definatly a woodsy presence with a very, very subtle vanilla-like sweetness. In fact, what sweetness could be detected was very muted, but not altogether absent.
Construction, draw, and ash are all good if not above average. I highly recommend these cigars.

Review Notes:
Great looking smoke, even burn, and a very earthy taste. For my taste, I much prefer the Series A.

Review Notes:
Excellent construction, supple feel, dark brown wrapper with a pebbly texture, no major veins. Flavor in the prelight draw was like burnt cocoa. Flamed up & strong pepper hits you right off the bat, tones down after the first third. Turns into a leathery, slightly creamy smoke at midstick. Unfortunately, never developed any of the cocoa flavor from the prelight. Overall I didn't find this very complex. Excellent draw. Puts out pungent smoke. Got some heavy tar at the band, so these may need more than a month in the humi. Went about 90 minutes on this robusto. Have a few other sizes from the sampler pack, looking forward to trying them out (in the summer!)
