Review Notes: I wanted to try a 5 Vegas specifically because it was the highest rated sub $6 cigar. It is not the best cigar I have enjoyed, but it was a fine smoke. Great, consistent flavor from beginning to end.

Review Notes: When I saw that the Alpha had jumped to the top of the "Under $6" list I decided I better go home and smoke another to see if I had missed something the first few times around; I'm sticking with my assessment. I've smoked most of the excellent A line and I have to say the Alpha is probably my least favorite. Not that it's not a good cigar, but I don't think it develops quite as well as the Apocalypse or the Apostle, and for some reason the Alpha flavor always gets a little funky before I'm ready to put it out, leaving me with the harsh aftertaste. Maybe I just need to put it out halfway through . . .
