Review Notes: First things first, the cigar right out of the box looks SPECTACULAR. Gorgeous band and nice dark oily wrapper with a cedar wrap on the tail. Right after lighting the cigar it is a bit rough around the edges but if you give it a quarter to a half inch it evens out and the chocolaty, molasses, nutty overtones come out. It can remind me of the Partagas Black except the Partagas Black has a stronger chocolaty flavor and is a bit smoother. This is a smoother dark cigar though without the overpowering spice. The last quarter the spice kicks up but it compliments the cigar. Go buy a box, (not sampler packs or bundles). The boxes seem to have more consistency throughout and you can get a box for $75 or $80 shipped. Yes its a little more you cheap o folks but you get the cigars in better condition and aged better.

Review Notes: If you are looking for a great cigar at a even better price, look no more. I bought a box of these Costa Rican Maduro wrapped cigars, and smoked them all at once, all in one day...well maybe not all in one day, but if felt like it. Bottom line is you have to by these and try them. Let them age for about 3 months and you will have one of the best maduro's in the world.

Review Notes: I got 15 of these along with a 10 pack of other 5 vegas cigars due to a great deal on a website. i was pleasantly surprised with the smoke. it has a rather effortless draw and burns nicely. It started a bit harsh, but about an inch in the true flavor comes out. It has a great flavor with a slight nutty taste. the only problem i encountered was that after a few minutes the flavor is overpowered with a very smokey taste. Overall i got a good smoke for my money although it is far from the best cigar i have ever had. If you want a decent smoke that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, than you should pick up a few of these

"Not as expected.."

Review Notes: This is just an average smoke. The cigar is nice to look at but the burn based on construction is suspect. I’ve smoked three of these now…all have had difficult draws, (it was like sucking a marble through a straw) skimpy smoke and one plain started to fall apart. The taste was medium spicy/smooth with little character. All had a couple of months in the humi, one unwrapped, one wrapped but the end of the wrap cut off allowing the cigar to breathe and the other still in the cellophane. The taste and ambiance of the cigar didn’t change much regardless of the aging technique. Maybe I was expecting too much…but as kevink868 proclaimed; “I've had worse stogies at double this price. But I've also had better ones at half the price.” I agree.

Review Notes: Take the cello AND the cedar sleeve off and let them sit in the box for 6 months. You will be amazed.
