Review Notes: With 2 years of aging, this cigar got mellower and sweeter. I know that 2 years is a long time to wait on a cigar, but if you are like me, you hoard everything you can get your hands on during times of money, then coast during hard times.

Review Notes: Appearance is good. Wrapper didn't handle the cut very well but other than that, the construction held up nicely. The stick was tight and I thought there would be some difficulty on the draw but it ended up fine. From a flavor perspective, it was rather bland for the first half and a bit after halfway, it turned almost sour. I kept with it and the sour taste disappeared rather quickly. I was pleasantly surprised in the last third of the stick when it provided a lovely almondy taste. I think it needs a bit more aging. I will put it in the back for another six months or so until I try another of the remaining four.

Review Notes: I had to dry box these, they were over humidified, before I could write an honest review. Honestly, I really enjoy this cigar! A very nice Sumatran wrapper with an even, slow burn, a good hours worth of cigar. Deep, earthy flavors with a bit of spice throughout the length of this vitola that strengthens to the nub. This is an every mans cigar, great taste at a very good price point. I got ten of these for $19.00 on a one day special, I think they lost money on this one! This is a med. bodied smoke that can be enjoyed at any time of day or night, just a very well rounded cigar.

Review Notes: In 2003 I got a sampler pack with one of these in it , A torpedo I think, and I was convinced that i must have just really been in the mood for a cigar cause it was just better than I expected it to be. Cheap. Not that pretty etc. etc. Well I just got another one in a sampler pack and well...It was damm goood. A little spice, pepper(very little) earthy, medium and well, just very typical Nicaraguan...Which I like. Now I am not saying it is anywhere near as dynamic and tasty as a Tatuaje havana but the Aroma kept reminding me of them. Which is pretty darn cool cause um...er I really like that Aroma. I will not turn my nose at them again. nice smoke.

Review Notes: I think this is a medium strength cigar with possibilities, I enjoyed the spice flavor along with a mild peppery taste, I was not happy with the draw though, it seemed to be plugged as if rolled to tight in spots. I will try this again to see if maybe it was a rare incident with that fiver.
