Review Notes: I received one of these as a freebie when I purchased my box of Gold Nuggets (reviewed previously). I've also smoked three Torpedos in this line as well so far. The experience of each has been enlightening on how appearances can make a cigar but the flavor can ultimately break it. Pre-light, the dark wrapper is beautiful to look at, with a glossy sheen, and a toothy texture. Likewise, the pre-light aroma is very enticing; construction-wise, the draw perfect. Post-light, blasts of black pepper is very much the most prominent flavor. Unfortunately, that great pepper taste is spoiled in short order with what to my palate is the very off-putting funky flavor of something like charred plastic. Every sample so far in this particular line has suffered from this malady, including the aforementioned Torpedos in this line that I've tried. Thus despite more than a few honest efforts, I unfortunately just can't recommend this line

Review Notes: Great consistent cigar that always satisfies, age does help but even right out of the box these are great. Try the torpedo, definitely my favorite size.

Review Notes: Im not sure if maybe I just had a batch of bad ones? The taste was extremely harsh, and I could not finish it past halfway. I will not buy another one of these. I have not tried anyother 5 vegas. I hope they are better than this one!

Review Notes: I'm still not sure how the cinco vegas company can have so much hype around it. It's cheap in price, which is where the pros end. The taste is acidic and harsh, the aftertaste is almost like that of a cigarette. Most 5 vegas I've smoked have had holes in them, sometimes several holes per stick. The only bright spot is the 5 vegas golds, which are a poorer and stronger version of the cao golds. I've read many reviews that say "for the price, this is a great stogie". I'm saying, for the price you get what you pay for. leave these at the cigar shop, you can find better for cheaper.

Review Notes: For a straight house brand this is an above average cigar. The taste was surprisingly good, as was the burn and draw. I really didn't encounter any problems. For the price they are definately a good buy. This cigar was aged around three months. I wasn't really expecting to nub this robusto.
