Review Notes: Received two of these in a taster pack from CI. I gifted one to a friend who doesn't usually smoke cigars and he seemed to really enjoy it. The second one has since been sitting in my humi until today. I'd say about three months additional rest total. A solid looking torpedo with a really pointy head and a smooth lightly veined wrapper. Pre-light aroma was very pleasant and pre-light draw was just right. Not too loose, not to tight. Lit up and was greeted with tones of earth and leather. After settling the smoke began to show a distinct coffee flavor on the finish that I found to be quite enjoyable. This flavor continued throughout the smoke and was occasionally joined with notes of sweetness. Burn was ok but needed a few corrections one of which was due to some tunneling. Draw stayed perfect throughout. I smoked this stogie down to less than an inch and it never once got hot on me. Overall, I really enjoyed this cigar. The flavors and strength are just right and at the price this stick may just become part of my regular rotation.

Review Notes: I was hoping these would be a lot better than they were. Maybe if I let them sit a while in the humi they will improve. Construction was average, didn't burn even, flavor was "off", maybe I have a bad batch or it just isn't my kind of cig.

Review Notes: I got these as part of a sampler and had read some glowing reviews. I let them hang in the humi for a month as this is what a lot of the reviewers had recommended. Today I had one and was not really impressed. Although the construction was solid an draw smooth, they were one dimensional. From start to end the same delivery and same flavor. If you want to settle for a uncharacteristic smoke at a good price then have at it. There are so many better cigars to smoke in this short life. If you want to be cheap then this is your championship. If you appreciate a good cigar them you wont stop here. I've been smoking for 14 years and have smoked at all price points so I don't mean to sound snobbish. However, there a so many other options at this price that blow this away.

Review Notes: Very nice looking and smelling cigar right out of the package. I smoked this the day after I got it from ups, so no aging yet. Pre-lit draw was a little tight for my taste, but didn't affect the smoke. Lots of coffee in this one. Started a little bitter and reminded me of a R&J, only at the start though. Mellowed quickly into lots of strong coffee flavors with some cocoa mixed in. Very smooth all the way to the nub. Left a nice espresso finish on the pallette. I think smoking this with a nice cup of coffee would mellow it out and unmask more cocoa and cream. Very enjoyable cigar right out of the box, will buy more. Great price too.
