Review Notes:That this gar was better than I'd expected increased my enjoyment of it. (Low expectations do have their place.) It has WAY too much nicotine, it made me queasy. The ash reminded me of the postwar neubauten of Eastern Europe; all a dirty grey skein, scaling and chipping in the breeze. That said, it actually tasted pretty darned good. (...and other than migrants, I don't like Mexicans.)

Review Notes:For the most part, my previous review is still how I feel, but after more than a year in the humidor, this cigar has firmed up on the draw and I did not get light headed from accidental smoke inhalation. Still, a nice offering from most other Mexican cigars.
Review Notes:Heard big things about this brand. Not your grampas Mexican cigar, etc blah blah blah.
Well, when I fired it up, it was pretty blah--for the first third or so, unimpressive.
But then, character and flavor kicked in.
Very enjoyable medium bodied smoke from that point onward. The only negative was a noticable thin, flaky ash.
Would buy again--tastes nothing like a Te Amo, which is a good thing to me.
Review Notes:I picked one of these up in a sample pack and had it sitting in the dor for a good month or two. The look of the cigar was great with just one or two noticeable veins, and it was semi-firm to the touch. When I lit up, it had a nice, almost nutty scent and flavor. The draw was way too light though and I became a little light headed early in the smake. This was not the nicotice type of drunkness that some are familiar with. The burn was pretty even, but the ash was a bit dirty and grey looking. Overall, it was a nice smoke. Probably the second best Mexican Cigar I have had.
