Review Notes:True to Acid form above average appearance. Slightly softer packed than typical for the brand. Obvious cedar smell because of packaging. Notorious sweet wrapper. Scents of berries and wood.
Easy prelight pull. Dry toasty flavor.
Lights with ease. Potent flavor from first draw. Oak is most noticable. Lingering aftertaste. Uncharacteristically unsweet cigar. Pleasant change from the brand. There is certainly a sweetness to this cigar, but it is not a primary note. Full bodied, ample smoke. Aroma is extremely sweet. Amount of tobacco in the filler must be why this flavor is not overpowering. Caramel and earth.
Burn is slightly uneven, 1/8 difference. So far the best cigar of the tin sampler. Mild, cool smoke full of deep earthen flavors after 1st 1/3. Oak instead of expected cedar notes. Good pairing with scotch.
Quality smoke. The best of Acid.

Review Notes:The last reviewer (Corestan) hit it pretty much on the nose. The aroma and look were in line with most Acids but the taste just had a lingering Acid-like flavor. Definitely overpriced the Ming was attractive and burned fairly well, but overall only in the average range.

Review Notes:Well, I've got to say this wasn't what I was expecting. The cigar had the classic Acid smell to it, but the wrapper was lacking the taste of an Acid. No creaminess or sweetness, just rather... traditional tasting wrapper. Smoked much like the Naturals from Drew Estate. The particular one I smoked was extremely difficult to draw on once the tip got wet, but overall, I'd say it was a decent smoke. Probably not one I would do again, but it's a cigar worth smoking just to say you've done it. Had an interesting pattern to it, as well. Once the band was off, there was a clear distinction between wrapping, one a lighter, acid-like appearance , and the other a darker natural-like appearance. Looked kinda neat, and the band is different. This doesn't taste like an acid, but that doesn't make it a bad cigar.
