Review Notes:Definitely enjoyed this cigar, although I would have to say it is yet another of the 'love it or hate it' type cigars. Sweet wrapper held its flavor until about half way through, at which point the cigar's smokey flavor took over, creating a very nice transition. The finish on the cigar was a bit disappointing, seeming to get a bit bitter, although over all, this is definitely a cigar that should be tried before buying multiple. I would buy another one if the chance arose, however it isn't anything like a 'typical' cigar, as much of the seasoned cigar crowd is not. The burn was very even, and it kept the ash nicely. The draw was hard, but smooth, and for the overall price in comparison to some of the other 'higher' end seasoned cigars, it is definitely a good value if that is what you're looking for.

Review Notes:The Nectar probably gets the unflattering title of worst of the Ambrosia line. Good lord is it a dry smoke. My tongue was shriveled up a quarter of the way through the thing. Also, whereas the Acids rely on sweetnes and a delicate spice, the Ambrosias are all pretty heavily spiced in a picante sort of way and the Nectar is probably the second spiciest next to Spice itself. But here, the spice didn't work in the cigars favor and eventually my tortured tongue was further incapacitated by a numbness that still lingers and tastes like the rubber residue that gets on your lips when you blow up a balloon. There was nothing even vaguely reminsicent of a Nectar flavor to it. The flavor of the actual smoke itself tapered off a bit and grew rather cool-- mildly refreshing. But it was too little too late. The construction and burn was solid, even, enjoyable in and of itself, and the smoke texture was not without its nice character, but I don't think I'll partake in another Nectar anytime soon (well...I got two of them at once...but I'll put off smoking the other one til I'm desperate).

Review Notes:Another overpriced Drew Estate cigar that will appeal to a non-smoker before it would an enthusiast. This is a cusano hermano vintage pacakaged in a preachy fruit flavored wrapper. The sweetness mellows out towards the middle. I tried this one with a buzz to see if I could appreciate more. Did not help. Average draw and burn.

Review Notes:Spicy with a good toastiness and a lightly sweetish overtone, this cigar burned nicely down to about 80%. However, for the ridiculous price I hoped for something in the Montecristo quality range. Buy an RyJ Anniversario Robusto instead.
