Review Notes:
Great construction, with burn and tight ash. It's not a very impressive looking cigar. Wrapper is somewhat rough looking. Taste was strong, definitely some exotic spices reminding me of the holidays, like nutmeg, rum etc.. However, these taste notes were generally short. Most of it was one dimensional straightfwd leathery tastes unfortunately. Mine was 1 year aged. For the price point, there are others I prefer. However, it's worth trying out.

Review Notes:
light spice complex with many differing flavors throughout. Almost earthy grassy toward the end but very enjoyable. Similar to Ashton ESG

Review Notes:
On two years rest. A roughly average looking CTBL wrapper, but it was rock solid head to toe. After a half inch, some tar began collecting at the head of the smoke, requiring me to clip a little more off. Odd, but it performed flawlessly thereafter. I didn't find this Anejo to be quite as dry on the palate as others I've had. Perhaps the age helped. A tingle of pepper and licorice throughout. I'm with icehog -- there was a slightly sweet, fruity tang on the front that's hard to pin down. The flavor verged on charriness at various points, but never crossed over the line. It's a meticulously crafted smoke, so it's hard to say I didn't get my money's worth, but these just don't blow me away at the price point. I'll continue to pick up a couple around this time each year, but they'll never be a go-to for me.

Review Notes:
I've smoke boxes of Cubans, and about
everything out there. This Cigar is the
BEST I've EVER had. Dark, nice light oily feel,
beautifully rolled, unbelieveable aroma,
taste. It's burn was perfect. Paid 13 bucks
at the package store. I can't afford a box,
but I'm heading back for a half dozen.....
I couldn't wait to get the humidity up,
only one day in my box...FANTASTIC smoke!!
