"Great Cigar"

Review Notes: I just finished my first Hemingway of this size and what a great cigar it was. The perfecto shape is very well done with a nice bulbous foot that tapers into a well capped head. It opened up rather potent but after the burn surface widened out the cigar mellowed a bit. Ample amounts of creamy smooth smoke with leather and chocolate on the finish. The last inch or so has some spice to it. The burn needed one touch up at the beginning but that seems to be normal for perfectos. A fantastic cigar and my new favorite from the Hemingway line.

"Brilliant!"

Review Notes: Lights easily with an easy draw. It tends to burn unevenly at first, but evens out with a little coaxing. The initial flavors are nutty with a sweet char. The finish is very short with a mild and clean aftertaste. The aroma becomes woodier as the burn progresses and has a syrupy, molasses-like tinge to it. For the first couple of inches this is a very easygoing medium-bodied smoke. The “sweet spot” is just at the mid-point where the flavor gets meatier, turning from smooth nutty flavors to smatterings of earth and black pepper. The aroma at this point is potently perfumey, sweet and musky. The flavors get gradually darker as the cigar comes to a close. The finish grows to a spicy bite and finally signals the end with a dirty bitterness. A fantastic maduro. One of the best out there.

Review Notes: What a great little cigar. Massive volumes of spicy smoke marred only by a slight irregular burn.

Review Notes: About 45 minutes. Started a little slow with a slight metallic flavor. Second third picked up some body, and the last third was more full bodied. Dry cocoa and coffe flavors. Great draw and burn. Ash didn't drop thil halfway down.

"Heck of a cigar"

Review Notes: I let this thing sit well over a year, and only pulled it out because, along with the beginnings of plume, I saw a slight bit of mold beginning to form around the foot (nipple) of this cigar. I removed that mold, clipped it, and lit 'er up after a greasy burger. At first, I was ticked off, b/c the draw was so tight. After clipping a bit more, it really opened up and I was rewared with TONS of thick, blue smoke. Coffee and chocolate predominate, but leather sneaks in towards the end. This thing smokes and burns like a dream. Highly recommended.
