Review Notes: Just like the natural and sun-grown versions, this maduro is partially wrapped in a sleeve of cedar. It's a bit rough in appearance but is otherwise well-made. This is by far the best performing of the three: mostly even burn, good draw, lots of smoke, and a well-formed ash that holds for almost the first half of the smoke. It's spicy, earthy, and sweet; medium to full in body, but smooth and balanced and not overpowering. Past the band it has a harsh tobacco flavor so i wasn't quite able to nub it. Leaves a small buzz afterwards with a cigar-box finish. My favorite of the Chateau Fuente robustos.

Review Notes: for the price, this is a nice little cigar. this was a slow burner, lasted me about an hour and fifteen minutes. the draw was great, giving lots of smoke. i will be getting more of these.

Review Notes: Very bold and too spicy for my taste. It was though the tobacco was infused with cedar. Sort of like smoking the last part of a cigar (hot and smokey) throughout the whole stick. Strong buzz from this little guy though.

Review Notes: A very smooth cigar, the Chateau Fuente Maduro has a very spicy character with the initial light-up that immediately mellows out to flavors of strong coffee, leather, cream and chocolate with sweet floral and caramel notes laced through-out. It has a very loose draw with mouthfuls of chewy smoke and scents of coffee, leather and sweet spices. I am used to a firmer draw, but if you can get past a very loose draw this cigar is quite enjoyable. After the first 2" the flavors build-up to espresso coffee, caramel and sweet leather. The finish is mellow and smooth with flavors of espresso coffee, caramel, cherry blossoms and other sweet floral notes, Remarkable!

Review Notes: One of my current favorite cigars. I love the taste of this cigar. Very spicy and I think it taste really good. woody, spicy taste. highly recommended. wish it were a bit bigger, but a great short half hour smoke.
