"A solid smoke"

Review Notes: This cigar looks classy. The construction was spot on. The flavors start out with a spicy, black cherry and pepper. It mellows down into a spicy, woodsiness with dark chocolate and notes of leather. For the cost, they are worth having a few on hand. Overall, these are one of the few Dominican puros that I really like.

"Good! But burn problems"

Review Notes: This is a tasty, spicy cigar. The one I smoked had burn issues all through. Even with that, I will make this a regular addition to my humidor. Well worth the price.

"A Good One!!"

Review Notes: I loved the complexity of this cigar. Great wrapper, feel, and appearance was first noticed and then the first taste was a wonder of caramel, coco butter taste. This quickly moved to a soft creamy flavor. It was a mild smoke at first and then turned medimum as I tasted roasted nuts, a hint of white pepper and semi sweet coco cream. The cigar then mellowed to a mild state and althought it still had a sense of semi sweet coco it finished with a birtch clean taste. I wanted the complexity to continue but all things have an end. An excellent 2/3 cigar and one I will try again. At $3.30/ea. you can't get much better!

"Spicy little gem"

Review Notes: I wanna tell you all about one of my favorite little medium to full bodied cigars. The Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown is a robusto sized cigar at 4.5 x 50. The first time I smoked one, I went WAY TO FAST and really harshed my experience, but have since learned that just because they are small does not mean they are to be smoked fast. The Sun Grown starts with a kick. The first time I lit one I thought, holy shit I am never going to be able to smoke this thing. Like I said I smoked that one too fast and made the whole experience a downer, but now I light it up and take it slow. I usually can make it last about 50 minutes to an hour. The first two to four draws are pure SPICE. I mean black pepper spicy what the hell have I gotten myself into. But stick with it about 6 full draws and it settles down to a nice subtle spice with a tobacco sweetness that comes from the wrapper. I would love to tell you what they cost but I have consistently had 15 in my humidor since Christmas and have never paid for one. Everytime my dad goes to Phoenix he buys me anywhere from 10 to a box of them. But I think they are somewhere in the neighborhood of 4.50 to 5.50 a stick depending on the place. If you are in to a good cigar with a bit of a kick, the Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown is worth a try. I actually like them better than a lot of the Fuente super premiums that sell for 10 bucks more per stick.
