Review Notes:I purchased this cigar while I was in Florida. I was more or less new to cigar smoking before going down there, though I've had some in the past, but never owned multiple cigars (gifts, or bought and smoked the same day). I had a couple of A. Fuentes while I was in Florida and really enjoyed them, so I had bought a few more to take home with me (I didn't buy any doubles as I wanted to try a variety). This cigar comes wrapped in cedar.
There was definite tastes of cedar throughout the cigar, and it was the prominent taste that I picked up. At the 2/3 mark it started to get a little more flavourful, some minor hints of cocoa, and a more full and thick smoke. It had a little spiciness to it as well. The ash was very white and very strong. The light did go out once while I went inside to go to the bathroom and grab a water. I smoked it over about 2 hours. The draw was a little on the hard side, but not so bad that I passed out from smoking it.
Overall, I enjoyed the cigar, but I would not fight a nun to get another one.

Review Notes:This cigar was given to my a friend that received it as a gift but does not really smoke. It sat in my humidor for at least a year until I decided to give it a go. My first impression was disappointment. I found the draw difficult through the first 2 inches. After that, it burned good, and had a very woody taste to it. I would probably rank it higher if it would not have taken so long to develop. All in all, it was a mild smoke, but I will probably not have another.

Review Notes:We were in St. Augustine Florida, sitting on the balcony of the B-N-B, and after a filling Cajon dinner, my friend and I light up our AFD's and with a good scotch there beside us, I tell you there was nothing better in the world at the moment. Cheers

Review Notes:People can knock A. Fuente as much as they like...but for the price, in my opinion, they are excellent cigars. At first I got hooked on the Hemingways but now I realize they sell a quality product no matter what line you buy. I would recommend any of their cigars to beginners or experienced smokers. ENJOY
Review Notes:This is the first AF to let me down. And it was all about the burn. Horrible. Tunneling like a mad gopher in the hills. Started off very peppery, but settled down into a smooth even creamy cedar after about an inch. My buddy got tired of watching me torch the thing to bring the burn around, so he stubbed it out in the tray and brought me out an AVO. Bless his generous heart.
