Review Notes: What can you say Don Carlos would be proud to have this one in his honor of his 85th birthday.The Gran Reserve Line is GREAT!

Review Notes: This is the first cigar I've smoked that really tasted like wood. Kept getting wiffs of woodshop in grade school, when the saws were going...All around not a bad cigar though, mild, great burn, (in fact one of the best I've experienced,) and sort of sweet on the tongue. Just smelled like sawdust.

Review Notes: I usually smoke and enjoy the AF petite corona. I had wanted to try the 8-5-8 for some time. It started out fairly sweet and mild and got more flavorful about halfway through with better draw and more smoke. The finish was excellent, it stayed fairly mild and left me wanting another.

Review Notes: Bought 3 to start with. The first two were like a gift from heaven. The third was soft and limper than some machine rolled cigars. Bought 10 more. First of these was as loose and hot burning as the above and the second was almost plugged! Can't complain about the flavor, when you can get a good burn. Maybe the remaining 8 will be as good as the first two. But for now, this one seems to be all hat and no cattle.

Review Notes: As with many other A.Fuente products, a very nice construction with a quality burn. This one was mild to medium with a good toasty, slightly spicy flavor that turned to a medium earthiness near the end. Quality and taste, but not personally strong enough for my preferences.
