Review Notes: This cigar sells for $4 on line but is seldom available; when you see it, buy it! This is without question the best $4 cigar made. Full rich flavor, great construction and appearance, and no harsh or strong smoke.

Review Notes: This is a good cigar, not only is the flavor good, with a unique taste, almost a mix of nut bread, and coffee; but the construction was really outstanding. I was able to get a nice cylindric tube of solid white ash to fall neatly into my ashtray. That's something I've never seen before. I paid $5.75 for the Flor Fina 8-7-8, and I would definitely buy it again. I see from this database, the average price is $5.00. I would have expected this cigar to cost at least $7 or $8. My advice would be, get it at a shop with a humidor, and from a shop that normally sells very fresh cigars.

Review Notes: Tried one fresh out of the box. A decent smoke but not great. I am taking PPL advice and going to age the rest for at least a year. Familiar Fuente flavors. A bit floral and light spice. Hope time will help them.

Review Notes: Once again, I am following some reviews giving fair to poor reports about a cigar. Once again, I will remind the readers of my reviews that I have a large cigar collection, and have the means to extensively age my stash. I did not like this Fuente 858 when I smoked one fresh out of the box some seven years ago. Now, I am thoroughly enjoying this medium body, creamy and tasty treat. Good construction, slightly uneven burn (but not enough to cause a problem,) effortless draw. Very pretty. Shiny chestnut brown wrapper, with some thin veins. A very nice, silky and leathery texture of smoke. Delicious and complex flavors. Toasty bread overtones, with subtle hints of many flavors. I am detecting some coffee and nuts, perhaps some fruit. So, I will venture a guess ... perhaps Fuente boxes these 858's without proper aging time? Anyway, I almost traded these away, but I was advised by fellow cigar smokers to hold onto them, and I just may be in for a surprise. I am very glad I took the advice. This Fuente is excellent.
