Review Notes:This cigar has a beautiful wrapper and excellent prelight taste.
Once you fire it up has a very clean and cedary taste to it.
Not very complex and it burned perfectly right down to the nub.
A great cigar for the mild lovers out there. You wont be disappointed.

Review Notes:At first light, I noticed that this cigar had a very toasted flavor to it. Smoking it down about 1/4 of the way I noticed that it developed a slightly creamy finish. Halfway through, the flavor changed and it tasted like I was smoking a wooden cedar plank. It was not very enjoyable. The smoke became somewhat harsh and the cedar flavor/sensation was overpowering. The flavor eventually mellowed out, but it was just not what I expected. The wrapper was very oily, which was nice to see. The filler was very tight, but the cigar had a good draw. Unfortunately, the cigar had a very uneven burn and I had to try to even it out several times. The cigar only burned evenly for about the first inch. When the cigar was about 2/3 smoked, it randomly went out. I was a bit peeved since I was actively smoking it. I had to actively work to keep the cigar from going out from then on. Then, to top it off, the cigar began to burn very hot for the last 2" or so. It was so hot that I just put it in the ashtray and walked away. The cigar was VERY smokey, and the smoke was a very thick white smoke. More smokey than the typical cigar. The only upside I had to the cigar, aside from the appearance, was the 2 hour smoke time, which is to be expected with a Churchill, but it was still nice to have it last that long. If you like this cigar, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Unfortunately, I hated it. This was recommended to me, along with the Ashton Maduros. I'll try the Maduros, but never again will I touch another Ashton Classic.
Review Notes:If mild isn't your thing, you might not love this one. On the other hand, if you like mild cigars or would like to introduce someone into cigars, this is the perfect one to start with. Creamy, sweet, almost no spice, not too heavy, very light flavor with hints of cedar and toasted nuts, even coffee with cream. This is just an excellent smoke all around. Didn't want this one to end.

Review Notes:Mild can be bland to a person who smokes often. I am glad to say after attending Cigar Club recently I now have found a mild smoke that anyone who smokes regularly can appreciate.
The Ashton Classic Churchill is sweet and has just a bit of spice to tingle the tongue. Nice! The appearance is topnotch with one of the prettiest Connecticut Shade wrappers I've seen. My particular cigar was well hydrated, especially in the midst of an Alabama summer which is jungle like in humidity. No bother though as it lit easy and continued to burn well for just over an hour. No complaints here, a mild cigar a cigar lover can love!

Review Notes:I love an Ashton as a morning smoke. They look beautiful and smell excellent. The light creamy flavor reamins all the way through. I always have a few in my humidor. If you like these try the Avo line, which are just as good for light ones.
