Review Notes:I smoke a ton of full-bodied fare, with JdNAs, La Flor Double Ligeros, Cuban Bolivars and the like among my favorites. And yet, I still enjoy many cigars in the mild genre. A good CT Shade will not be in your face, but it should have a creamy, sweet and nutty profile with decent manners. The Ashton Corona still does it for me. Sure, I wish it were less expensive, and there are others that are cheaper and probably as good. But just on its own merits, and without the issue of expense, it remains a classic easy-going beauty that rarely disappoints for its intended purpose...mild, tasty and botherfree smoking.

Review Notes:I started off smoking Montecristos and have graduated to fuller bodied smokes. Recently, I decided I wanted to pick up some milder smokes as a change of pace. I found a few good ones, such as the Aurora 1495, but also picked up one of these. I tried it the other night and was throughly unimpressed. It produced a lot of smoke and had a slight cirtusy tang, but had too little flavor to me. If I'm spending $5-10 on a smoke, I want flavor.. not air. If you're into mild smokes, this might be up your alley, but it wasn't for me. The Aurora 1495 has way more flavor and is less expensive.

Review Notes:My favourite smoke. Most flavourful mild cigar I ever had. Creamy toasted nut tastes. Great draw and construction but burns a bit unevenly at times. Will buy my second box soon.

Review Notes:This is absolutely my favorite cigar. In my review journal I described it as "smooth and creamy." It is very mild, but very relaxing at the same time. If you're looking for a lot of flavor, try one of Ashton's Aged Maduros. However, if you're looking for a really smooth cigar with lots of smoke, this is hands down the best one you will find.
