Review Notes: This is my first ashton and it did not impress me. Decent wrapper and construction, with no pre draw problems. When lit, the cigar produced a good amount of smoke. Too bad it had little flavor. The taste I could pick up was a mild dry grassy flavor that remained throughout the cigar. I pitched it 3/4 the way into it and it wasn't soon enough. Some reviewers said this would be a good "morning" or "beginner" cigar. I say save some money and get a 5 vegas gold or better yet a CAO gold. It has a nice mild flavor without the grassy taste that won't bore your brains out. If you still feel compelled to spend $7 dollars on a morning stick, buy a macanudo. I'll try another ashton at a much later date.

Review Notes: Wow was I disappointed! The robusto just doesn't work here. There were hints of the nice aromas and flavors i found in the churchill but that was it. Stick to one of the better reviewed sizes.

    Review Title: Mild but Good

Review Notes: This is a mild cigar but pleasing throughout. My idea of a good cigar is one you burn your fingers on before you put it out, roach clips would do nicely on this one. Not very complex and quite mild but a very good smoke, all the way to the nub. Good amount of smoke but could use a bit more. No burn issues, good draw if a bit too tight. Sat in the humi for about 3 months, additional aging probably wouldn't add much. Glad I have a box in stock.

Review Notes: Eeh, overall a disappointment. Tasted pretty good. Mild. My morning cross-over to afternoon cigar. Had a hole in the wrapper, a little unraveled here and there. One of the worst burning sticks I've struggled with in recent memory. Canoeing and just plain going out on me. Ash was flaky like it was snowing, which it wasn't. A nice fine early taste of spring around here. Too bad the cigar wasn't as endearing as the day.

Review Title: Not bad, but not much to it

Review Notes: Very mild, w/decent tobacco flavor, slightly peppery, consistent from start to finish. Nothing complex, but at least it didn't leave a bitter aftertaste. Effortless draw, never got hot, retained about 1.5" ash, thick blue-white smoke. Burn got uneven in the final third but never needed a relight.
