Review Notes:
I've smoked quite a few cameroons, and this one is a new favorite.....one thing people new to cameroon wrappers must understand is that they are, by nature, a thin delicate wrapper-so you have to be gentle to avoid cracking...that being said, I'm greatly pleased with this line from ashton, especially considering the young age....a welcome change of pace IMHO, and I'm looking forward to adding 2 more years to my newly aquired stock...smoking pretty good right now, but has all the elements for outstanding short-term aging. The draw is very generous, which is crucial when considering the delicate nature of the wrapper-a tighter draw = more stress on the wrapper, and would most likiely result in cracking. I'm very pleased to find another cameroon of this quality, as I've been searching for quite some time now...always a welcomed change of pace from my normal maduros, ecuadorian, and nicaraguan wrapped cigars. I would also recommend the cohiba red dot coronas, if your Really craving something spicey. While good now.....in due time, my rating will certainly be higher in the flavor department, for my second review of this cigar.

Review Notes:
I found this cigar to be just above average. I've been trying many CA's top 25, and I think this is over-rated. I'm no expert, but this cigar had a very one-dimensional flavor, construction and burn. Definitely good, but you could do a lot better for half the price with a Padron etc...

Review Notes:
So far with the ashton line I was disappointed with the cabinet and very happy with the VSG. After seeing this stick make the top 25 and finally finding a shop with it in stock I gave it a go. I really enjoyed it. Great smell from the wrapper and the foot before lighting. Had a very nice creamy taste with a bit of cedar and a burnt sugar/carmel taste. Also noticed some almond. Towards the end got a bit spicy but still with sweet undertones. The finish was great as well. Very nice construction and nice even burn with a light ash. I'm looking forward to picking up some more and putting some age on them.

Review Notes:
Love Ashton VSGs, so I was looking forward to this, especially since it made CA's Top 25 list. Disappointing. Not a bad cigar, certainly, but nothing worthy of its price or rating IMHO. I have another, and if it impresses me I'll repost.

Review Notes:
Picked up this smoke from the ratings both on here and other places and maybe my expectation was high but regardless, this was a virtually tasteless, mild smoke I've had in a long time. I could detect the slight sweetness of the cameroon wrapper and lots of cedar but nothing that was enjoyable for me. Nice looking but thats where it ended.
