Review Notes:
I got a box early upon their release and was astounded at how much I loved the flavor of this puppy! I got a few more of the other sizes and liked nearly all of them, this 1 being my favorite of all. This cigar as well as the Camacho Corojo line and the Tatuaje brand remind me the most of ISOM's. I nearly smoked all from my box ...then WHAM! CA ranks it 8TH in the top 25! that's bad..price is sure to go up...making it a tough regular smoke. So good though, that I will suck it up and get more.

Review Notes:
A milder Opus X Fuente Fuente. A guy at my local cigar shop pointed this out to me in the humi on Friday. Yesterday, when i went there for Superbowl XL, I bought one. Quite frankly, i was blown away. It seems to me that some VSG's are strong without great flavor. The Puro Sol is milder, with flavor. Kinda like an Opus X Lite. Great construction, draw, everything. Maybe a little costly, but the best Ashton I've ever had.

Review Notes:
I'll start off by saying that I've tried a couple of Ashton's VSG line and I wasn't impressed, especially considering the premium price.
After reading the latest issue of Cigar Aficionado, I saw that they rated this particular smoke #8 in their top 25 of 2005. So, I deicided to give it a try and was not only surprised, but thrilled by how great this smoke was.
I had to smoke about 1/2 inch for the flavor to kick in and it got better as the smoke went on. The ash was like fine white powder and the smoke was sweet, lightly spicy, with hints of cedar and citrus. This is one of the few smokes that I didn't want to end... it was that good.
My only complaints is that it was tightly rolled and required some nursing to keep it burning evenly; it did require two relights.
Overall, this is a grea premium smoke. At ~$11, it's not one most could afford to smoke regularly, but it'd make a great smoke for a lazy saturday or sunday afternoon.

Review Notes:
Bought one in a good Los Angeles cigar shop that has an excellent walk-in humidor based on ratings here. Draw was good but it would not stay lit if put down for a minute and I had to keep relighting it. First inch was nothing special. Middle improved to average. Finished strong but overall wasn't worth the effort. I may try one again if I can get another somewhat less expensive, just to make sure I didn't get a bad one. I'll try anything that isn't awful three times to rule out a bad batch, so I'm hoping the next ones will live up to the strong reviews I've seen here.

Review Notes:
A little on the expensive side but well worth it and as Gbwyat said is a great special occasion cigar. Medium but complex flavors I got pepper, coffe and chocolate out of this one. A great cigar to have with a good whiskey or Scotch.
