Review Notes: This stick started out with a good spice flavor but ended up plain old tobacco. The ash fell apart too. Didn't even make it to an inch. Wrapper started to come apart at the end too. First third of this cigar was awesome but the rest went downhill QUICK. I do not recommend this one.

Review Notes: I usually indulge in the VSG; however, this was a wonderful morning smoke that I shared with my black coffee. Cream, earth and a touch of sweetness in the finish. I recommend this one.

Review Notes: I cannot believe the reviews. This is not an opus X or Diamond Crown Maximus and is not INTENDED TO BE! This is a fine dead on medium smoke. Solid cedar and leather notes. Even burn. Very nice, never harsh aroma. Well constructed cigar that you can leave sitting for a few minutes and still holds without a relight. Some tightwads say overpriced--I thought it was one of the few cigars that justifies a $10 price. Very solid cigar and a top 5 for me for sure. Give it a try

Review Notes: I do not understand the recent poor reviews for this very good cigar. Perhaps these members do not appreciate the spice and rich character of the Cameroon wrapper. These rank better than Hemingway and Don Carlos ... IMHO. The burn was very much improved, perhaps due to nearly an extra year aging since I last reviewed this fine cigar. The texture of the smoke in itself makes this a top notch cigar. Excellent roll, nice even burn and great draw. Very handsome chestnut brown wrapper. Delicious and well refined straight-forward tobacco flavor, accompanied by bread and traces of fancy nuts. I smoked this baby down to the nub, and almost burned my fingers. One of the very few cigars actually worth around $8. One of my top ten favorites. By all means, try one.

Review Notes: Aged at least 1 year (was a gift so not sure of age). This moderately attractive, medium bodied smoke had a fantastic draw and a very sub-par burn. The flavor started a very unrefined cedar.earth not befitting this price point. It then moved onto a cedar.pepper.spice flavor that was, while better, still not very sophisticated. About halfway through, the flavor became a little smoother and took on a background cinnamon note. A little after that, the flavor became oak.pepper and much more refined. I just never felt like the cigar completely "blossomed" and would only recommend it if it were 1/2 it's selling price.
