Review Notes: Let's start with the construction - perfect. Excellent draw, aroma, flavor though the wrapper was quite toothy. Took this out of the humi after about a year and had it as a nightcap. Short clean finish with a touch of sweetness. flavors ranged from very light spice to sort of nutmeg or vanilla with light leather tones. Very good cigar.

Review Notes: the astons ive had were pretty mild, so i expected this one to be no more than medium... it turned out to be stronger than i thought, but still not more than medium... my buddy called it "sneaky strength." i was pulling chocolate and coffee from it... it was smoothe with a beautiful white ash. it had a light draw to it and i liked the way it burned... it didnt seem to get warm until you were almost on the fire and the temperature of the smoke stayed the same until it was almost done... it was definately more than i anticipated... a suprising smoke... i loved it

    Review Title: Smooth, mild maduro

Review Notes: I was expecting a very strong tasting smoke given the dark wrapper, but this aged maduro is mellow generally. The taste was a medium bodied blend of dark chocolate, expresso and sweet caramel, while being smooth the entire time. Construction is top tier with great draw and tight ash. If you like a more mild maduro compared to other regular ones on the market this one will be for you.

Review Notes: Smoked one while crappie fishing. Smooth and medium in body. Complex coffee and chocolate abound. The one I smoked was slightly plugged but I have one more so we'll see. Smoked down to 2 1/2" before it fell in the water. What a shame. Can't wait for my next time out.

Review Notes: This is just my favorite "special occasion" smoke. A little bit pricey for a daily stick, but not too outrageous to enjoy regularly. Not the prettiest maduro wrapper I have ever seen, but it tastes heavenly from start to finish. Burn and construction were typical Ashton quality. Wonderful draw with plenty of flavoral smoke--but not too much to overpower you or others in the vicinity. Mildly sweet, nutty tones with a wonderful chocolate finish and pleasant aftertaste that lingered. It stayed smooth down to the end--a definate "finger burner". I recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality mid-price maduro. You won't be sorry!
