Review Notes: This Maduro started out a little sweet and then settled into a peppery smoke with plenty of bite but not a bit harsh. Sophisticated, not for everyday. Good for a treat.

"Ick."

Review Notes: A fine looking maduro, a splotchy oily wrapper with a bit of tooth. Fired up nicely, burned well, although there was tough stem in the binder that actually stuck out when I tapped the first ash-- unusual, especially for a smoke of this caliber. But there was little to no complexity here, and I detected none of the expected flavors-- just tobacco, and slightly tarry at that. Maybe I got a dud, or a fake even? Looked too nice to be a fake, but who knows. Not a great experience. Had to make up for it with an MX2.

"One good maduro......."

Review Notes: This Ashton didn't disappoint. This smoke started with a very dominant chocolately taste, with cocoa and woodsy undertones. It maintained those flavors for the duration of the smoke. Towards the second 1/2, it did get a little creamier, but all flavors were pretty constant. A great smoke with an even burn, and a smooth draw. A wonderful aroma was produced. One of my favorite maduros'. If you get the chance, keep a few of these around!!

"Terrific Cigar!"

Review Notes: I bought a box of these gems because I like a Maduro cigar, and they did not let me down. Initial flavor upon lighting them is an almost chocolately taste, then quickly turns very smooth and "woodsy". Burns wonderfully, nice white ash, very easy to keep lit, and has a terrific draw. Great flavor throughout, and milder than expected but not in a bad way. Great looking, very appealing in both looks and feel. I like to try a variety of cigars, but this one has me wondering why I'd ever consider another kind ever! Love at first light! Spend the money, it's worth it, you WON'T be disappointed!

"Casino Winner"

Review Notes: I bought my first 40 in the smoke shop at Harrah's Tahoe. I didn't win any money, but this smoke was a real winner. Before I lite it, I noticed an almost menthol flavor, after the fire, the taste changed to a more woodsy flavor. The construction was great and it had a very easy but firm draw. I trully enjoyable smoke. It cost too much in the casino shop, but it was worth the experience.
