Review Notes: The one I had was very ordinary. Nothing spectacular at all about it. It was rather ho hum and didn't have alot of taste.

Review Notes: This is not a cigar for beginners. Full-bodied and full of flavor. Spicey with un undercurrent of almonds, vanilla and cedar. A beautiful, oily wrapper with prominent veins. Perfect draw but an uneven burn, which is expected from such a thich cigar. The ring gauge allows for ample amounts of strong tobacco, presumably liegro. This smoke definitely packs a good N-buzz!

"Great cigar, even for the price"

Review Notes: This was a great cigar. Full-bodied, nice cedar & spice flavor, but never too hot or peppery. Expensive, but an excellent smoke. Very nice presentation with a medium dark marbled wrapper and excellent construction, except for one sharp vein near the top. The look of the cigar was complimented and enhanced by the classy band. The one I smoked was packed tight and had a difficult draw until I poked into the mouth end with the short philips head end of a tweaker. It give a small diameter hole about 1/2" deep and has never failed to relief draw issues for me. At the $15 I paid (reasonable for a local shop price), I can't give it high marks for value, but on every other count the Ashton VSG torpedo was a pleasurable smoke.

"Great, but not for the faint of heart"

Review Notes: This was close to perfection for the first 3/4. This cigar felt solid, splendid construction. The light was perfect and there was a smooth but spicy taste right off the bat. It burned evenly with a beautiful ash and although I heard it was strong, it was quite pleasant and flavorful all the way down to the last quarter. That is when it punched me in the grill. Now I know where the "strong" reviews came from. The last part of this cigar was very strong, and caught up to me, making me light-headed. I tried to finish the whole thing, but was just too nauseous. If you are not a frequent cigar smoker, this will give you a good punch. I don't regret it at all though. The first 3/4 of this cigar was the best I ever had.

"A great VSG"

Review Notes: I'm not sure if it is that I am a fan of the pyramid cigars or if it is because this cigar rocks, but the smoke was great. The best part is the last 3/4. But, the whole smoke reaked of cedar and provided tons of great tasting smoke. I would grab it again, but the price is steep.
