"Purely awsome, every time"

Review Notes: This is in my top three cigars, tied some where in there with the enchantment of this same series. I have never had any issue with this smake, which I enjoy often. That is more than I can say for most. They are almost completley worth the price I pay.

"VSG v. PAN/PAM"

Review Notes: First of all, what is going on with the reported $36 average price paid on here? Someone is lying. These can be had for under $10 pretty much everywhere this side of California. Moving on, it seems that every time I smoke a VSG, I boldly declare it my favorite NC line of cigars. Then I'll smoke a Padron Anni and decide that I must have been wrong with the VSG declaration. Then I smoke another VSG and claim the endorsement in favor of the PAN(M) was foolish. And so the debate in my mind continues. It had been awhile since I'd gone the VSG route, and I'd never tried the smallest size in the line, so when I had a free 30 minutes, I thought I'd try this one out, as it had been resting for about a year and a half. Little did I know this tiny smoke would last me almost 50 minutes to the nub! The burn was great despite user error on the light (the drastically uneven flare-up I subjected this cigar to may qualify as the worst light in the history of lights). The would-be canoe burn quickly corrected itself and burned evenly throughout. I'd recalled a slight sweetness with the VSGs I smoked in the past, but I didn't get that with this small size. Instead, this cigar was characterized by lots and lots of earth and leather. The smoke was almost full bodied, and packed a surpising nicotine punch to it, so smokers who haven't built up a tolerance yet should show this smoke some respect. Ultimately, I really enjoyed this cigar, but it wasn't quite what I remember from the VSG line in the past, which may have pointed me in the direction of the Padron Anniversario line once and for all!

"Too hard to find, but worth it"

Review Notes: I had the opportunity to pick up one of these little guys a couple of weeks ago. I have heard alot of them and wanted to check it out myself. I was a little shocked at the sticker price, since it was $15.75, but you only live once. The construction is decent, nice burn, but a little uneven at times. I was surprised at the flavor, this guy has a little kick. Started off pretty smooth, but the flavor intensified midway. Draw was decent, lasted approx. 35 mins. Not a bad smoke, but a little pricey for a daily smoke, and seems to be hard to find in stock.

"Excellent"

Review Notes: Great flavors in a small package. Nutty, creaminess and spice describe the flavor. Earthy tones also. Basically, all the flavors I like came together in a great package. Burn was sharp with white ash. Draw was near perfect. Two thumbs up.
