Review Notes: Off the truck these are mediocre smokes but with a year in the dor they are smooth and sweet the way I like my maduros.

 Review Notes: I have smoked several of these, and have enjoyed each one. However, aging definitely enhances the experience (the cigar that is, not the smoker). Moderately spicy, medium to full body. The flavor doesn't change much from start to finish, so this would not be the choice if you want something complex. The burn is somewhat inconsistent, and may need a touch up or occasional relighting. I agree with one of the earlier reviewers who said the flavor was "Padron like". A good, better-than-than average smoke.

 Review Notes: I was doubting that Astral could put out a full bodied cigar. I just did not think they were capable of it after my experience with their budget-cigar attitude. But hey, this one had a good bite to it and I even felt a bit dizzy upon getting up out of my chair. I suppose it could have been the JackD, but this seemed like a nic buzz. The flavor was standard fare though. Would be a good cigar for under 2 bucks.

 Review Notes: I was greatly disapointed in this smoke. Very tight and hard to draw. Uneven burn = frustrating. Dispite the great reviews and scores, just average flavor-but this could have been due to the lighting and burning issues I had. This was a gift and I don't think I will invest for a second try.
