Review Notes: I remember my first year of little league (43 years ago) standing in right field bored to death, hoping that no balls came my way. While standing out there, I sometimes found myself chewing the leather string on my oversized glove; trying to get it to fit tighter on my small hand. The taste of the leather string remains in my memory more so than the games. This cigar brought those memories back even more clear than they already were. The construction of this stick was very good. The ash held for over half the length of the cigar. The draw was almost perfect, with a burn that was straight until the end of the smoke. The flavor was downright baseball glove. I got no spice, sweetness, or anything else but leather. So if cigars with a strong leather flavor are your desire, this one should be in your humidor.

 Review Notes: Some of the original Maduros were great; dark oily wrappers and complex flavors. I also had a shade wrapper Gigante one New Year's Eve that was quite memorable. Now they feature a 3rd rate elephant skin wrapper, and no real discernable flavor.

 Review Notes: Bahia cigars are some of the best you can buy, and the Maduro is another winner. Strong woody taste really stands out, among complex flavors of chocolate and spice. Oily maduro wrapper tastes great and leaves behind that wonderful smell on your fingers only great wrappers can do. Lots of aromatic smoke and a great draw. Burn and construction nearly flawless. The Maduro is a bit cheaper than other Bahias and a great value. If you have never tried a Bahia, and/or like stronger cigars, try this one, or the Gold line.

 Review Notes: This is a great smoke and terrific value. As good as the CAO L'Ann Maduro with a better burn. Always good with a dark beer.

 Review Notes: Medium-full bodied smoke. Cool, good flavor down to the band. Very nice white ash, even burn all the way, nice draw, well worth it just out of the box, should age great.
