Review Notes:I really enjoy these cigars, and they have become one of my regular smokes. A solid smoking experience, excellent value, nice looking (unlike smokehole I prefer darker wrappers) with consistent construction, good flavor and strength, etc. My experience is similar to Bangy, in that they need some quality time in a humidor to reach their full potential.

Review Notes:The day i got these in the mail as a fiver from a Famous-Smoke auction, I thought they sucked. Bad burn, bad draw, weak cardboard-like flavor. Flash forward 2 months and the cigar fairy mustve come into my humi cuz these surely arent the same ones i smoked? They have been transformed to a dark, sweet and spicy cigar that I enjoyed immensely.
Combine Patel's "The Edge" with his Sun Grown line and you get an idea of what Tony Borhani has done here. Overall it's a great smoke that just needs some proper aging.
I plan on buying a box (or two) and let the suckers sit for at least a year. I just hope I have the discipline to keep my mitts off until then.

Review Notes:In the catalog, the wrapper was a shiny golden brown, when they arrived they were much darker almost ugly (the band is nice). Obviously there's been a switch. Thankfully, I liked the taste, which is hard to describe, sort of a sweet-tangy flavor, which maybe the grassy taste others have mentioned. If that's grassy, I like it. Crazy about it...no, but like it ...yes. There's also a different aroma sort of a perfume, which leaks into the flavor, which I could do without. The Bahia Trinidad taste like a cigar that needs a little age, this one was only aged a month. I think I'll let the other four nap in the humidor until the flowers bloom again and then I'll let you know.

Review Notes:I must say, the Rothschild was much better. Like the last reviewer, mine looked good, smelled good, but lacked taste. I wouldn't say it was totally repulsive, but it was not good. It burned rather poorly as well. It was medium bodied.

Review Notes:Looks good, smokes well, but not much taste. Seems grassy, balsa to me.
