Review Notes:Fuente did not get a homerun here. This is just a base hit considering their track record. Construction is the consistent great thing that Arturo does, and that is still the case here. No burn issues. The aftertase was a bit too much and a sign of a cigar that is not well aged or is using less-than-premium tobaccos. Definately the low end product for AF.
Review Notes: Anyone cognizant of the 60's band, Humble Pie, and their song of the same name will understand my feelings toward this stick and the smoking experience I had with it. The cigars mature tobacco rendered a medium start to full-bodied finish, smothering my palate in espresso and cinnamon from beginning to end. Its construction was impeccable; with the ash glowing uniformly, even after I had walked away from it several times for 5-10 minutes each. While lighting this stick my ignition device went dry and I left it partially lit while I refilled my Prometheus. The ember was noticeably uneven after I completed ignition of the cigar. However, during the course of my smoke the ash evened out perfectly; that alone attests to the quality control and constuction Arturo Fuente puts into this cigar. As I sit here composing this review, the after-taste has gone smooth and chocolatey. What a wonderful stick!
I wouldn't recommend this cigar to a novice because I don't feel their palate would be mature enough to deconstruct the onslaught this cigar offers up.
If you want a medium to full-bodied cigar at a reasonable price, this is it. A definite would buy.

Review Notes:bad aftertaste. Was first smoke and turned me off from cigars until my dad gave me an Onyx. That's a real cigar.

Review Notes:Overall, a disappointment. Coming from Fuente I had hoped for better. $49 for a box, I shouldn't squawk.
