Review Notes:I have been smoking Belinda Black's for almost two years. I have tried many different maduro cigars but always come back to the Belinda's. I have read other reviews that said they turn "bitter" over time. I have had some in my humidor up to a year and they have always gotten better with age. They have a spicy espresso nutty flavor that can't be beat, especially for their price. Yes, there are better maduro cigars on the market but not at an everday price. I rotate the Belinda Blacks and my Sancho Panza Double Maduros as my everyday cigars. For the price, they can't be beat!

Review Notes:This is the best $2 cigar I have yet found. Very flavorful, good construction, even burn, nice draw. Just purchased my 2nd box.

Review Notes:After several months in my humidor I have to take back what i said about these. Rather than getting better with age and proper humidification, these have begun to exude a harsh acidic flavor that stopped me from getting even an inch into the cigar. I, unfortunately, bought a boat load of these on special from JR cigars. I tried several now to see if it was an anomaly. I even had some in a different humidor, but the result was the same. I'm not sure why, but time is an enemy to these cigars. Whatever was used to cure the tobaccos must turn to vinigar over time. These have to be trown out now...they are not redeemable. Avoid these unless you think you can smoke them within a month or tow of purchase. TOTAL BUMMER :(

Review Notes:I lit this one up after road-testing a Consuegura (mainly for consistency). What first struck me was a heavy, sweet floral taste akin to someone sticking a daylilly in my mouth. I'm not sure if it was the tobacco or an incompatibility with the previous smoke. This musky-sweet flavor came and went along the cigar till about halfway. That's when I stomped it out on the road, lest I puke on my neighbor's lawn. The flavor made me sick. I look for chocolate, coffee, and mocha tones in a maduro, and this flavor was far from that. However, if you like heavy floral notes, this perhaps is the stick for you.
Smelled good, and lots of smoke - the aroma was actually quite different than the flavor. Draw was excellent, however, the cap was amazingly dry, even when well-humidified. A large quantity of flakes fell out after I cut the end - very odd. This might explain the odd flavor I experienced.
Construction was very good, and it held an ash very well. Inside filler ash was bright white, while the binder and wrapper made the exterior peppery. Nice oily wrapper, good draw, good appearance.

Review Notes:This is another gem from JR cigars. I loved the look and burn of this cigar. The flavor was quite mild and smooth, with a hint of sweet. This is a great starter marudo for new smokers. And a great price!
