Review Notes:Traded a 5er of Padron x000 for a 5er of these. Think I got ripped off. 4 of the 5 were either plugged or had such a tough draw that I pitched them under the lawnmower. What I COULD taste, was pretty nice: sweet, green tea, nutty. Wish my experience had been better, especially knowing these are "Padrons."

Review Notes:This cigar is another success by master cigar maker Estelo Padron. I've only had the Belinda Black variety which have a beautiful smooth maduro leaf. The flavor is full with soft smoke. The best flavor comes in the first 15 minutes of smoking. The whole box was consistent and smoked well. Flawless construction. For $35 at JRCIGAR.com you can't beat it.

Review Notes:Bought a box of Belinda Black Cubanos and fired one up after 1 week in the humi. These were not wrapped in cedar, came in a painted black cedar box. Nicely constructed, firm, no lumps or underfilled spots, chocolate brown wrapper was near perfect with one small vein. Fired up nicely but the draw was tough. Draw stayed tough all the way down, just hard enough to be annoying. I didn't get much smoke from this cigar and it burned slowly and evenly, no need to correct at all. Flavor was great, mild-medium, slightly stronger as it burned. Coffee, nuts, some lingering sweetness. Wrapper cracked slightly 2/3 of the way down but I smoked it past the band. I'll keep these in a humidor for a while and hopefully the draw will improve. As it is, they are marginally more expensive than bundled seconds and a lot more satisfying. Most of the bundles I have are sandwich construction, even ones advertised as "all long filler". The taste on these cigars was just great, better draw and they are a solid 8 cigar.

Review Notes:Smoking these is like smoking seconds. They are underfilled and burn badly. I can't believe they are wrapped in cedar! They're cheap, but you can get much better Villazon products for the price. Stay away.

Review Notes:Green and grassy. Had some grit mixed in with the tobacco. Ugh.
