"Great Combat Smoke"

Review Notes: Hell, if you are in a stressful environment and an avid cigar smoker, then this is the perfect fix. I killed a bundle of these little guys in Afghanistan my last tour, and they have a great flavor (sweet tobacco, earth, and cedar) that is medium. BST also burned very even (every one). The only problem was the wrapper. It tended to be abit dry or is too thin (personally I equated the problems to very low humidity). In any instance these were my go-to cigar between TOC meetings, missions, and after lunch when stuck on a FOB/COP for too damn long. I highly recommend these, if not for the price alone...you will not be disappointed.

"Slipshod"

Review Notes: Here's a 6 1/4 x 43 cigar for the budget minded. This little fella had a rough, papery wrapper slapped on the binder like a cheap coat of paint. The pigtail on the head and the unfinished foot give the stick a slipshod work in progress feel, like an early episode of This Old House if Norm took the season off. The flavor had quite a bite to it; harsh and rough. Spice and bright tobacco are buried under an astringent finish. A true mixed filler cigar, this one burned horribly unevenly.

Review Notes: good rich tasting cigar at a great price. Construction is always good. It is without a doubt one of the best values available today. I have been smoking these for over ten years, and this cigar has remained very consistent. A lot better flavor than the Belinda Black.

Review Notes: Definitely some taste here, let them sit for a couple of months to take out a bit of the initial harshness. At a buck a stick its a keeper.

"A good everyday smoke"

Review Notes: Just got a bundle of 25 from JR for 20 bucks. Should have let them sit in the humidor for a couple of days but had the time for a smoke and was in the mood. Noticed just a slight dryness when I cut it. Started a tad mild for a maduro but that was where the negatives ended. After 5 or 6 draws it livened up and was really good till the end. Burned well and tasted good all the way. Rich earthy flavor. Not a real complex flavor but it never tasted harsh and for 80 cents a stick it makes for an excellent smoke. Keep in mind I've only been enjoying cigars for about a year so a true conisour might see this differently but for 20 bucks a bundle it's worth a try.
