Review Notes:
'04 thats been in my humi since '05. looked spectacular but didn't burn too evenly. requires 2 re-lights, but was very smooth all the way through. draw was great. hints of pepper throughout this medium bodied smoke.

Review Notes:
Started out nutty and somewhat floral, with distinct spicy hits to the center & back of the tongue. Had a minor peppery bite, but mellowed out and turned more nutty. There was something unique in the profile--best way I can describe it is to say it was airy, maybe herbal, and almost minty. About midstick the profile changed drastically; turned meaty, like chargrilled steak, with a yeasty, raisin-bread like taste. The pepper also started to pick up at this point. The final act was all about the pepper, which was overlaid on top of a lot of earthiness. A very complex and enjoyable cigar.

Review Notes:
Smoked a '98 version of this cigar, and was not disappointed. Had that familiar Boli spice, but with a smoothness that belied that spice. Great draw and a straight burn, the cigar picked up steam as it went along, and suprised me at the end with some extra flavor reminisant of black licorice. A great cigar, probably even better because of its age.

Review Notes:
This cigar had a burly looking natural wrapper. The ash was grey and stacked like pancakes, not really sturdy, but not falling into my lap either. The draw was a tad tight though. The burn was even first half, but uneven second half, and had to be relit three times in second half. It had a nice toasty core with butter undertones, the core changed to a more leathery taste towards the end. There was a little nuttiness as well mixed in throughout the smoke. It got a little hot towards the end, but I expect that in smaller cigars. It was very relaxing, and quite a quick smoke. The smoke was a little thinner than I usually like, but I smoked it to the nub. It was a great smoke to end a great weekend.
