Review Notes: These will definiitely age real nice! As it is, they are a powerful smoke to be enjoyed after a satisfying supper and nothing else to do! Truth be known, the flavors are so strong, they over-stimulate the palate. That's why I say: Just wait a while! (as much as 2 years)

Review Notes: Just cracked a box dated July 06 and logged in to write about it only to notice the last few reviews raving about boxes with identical date codes. These are THE BOMB guys. Absolutely perfect wrappers, a slight press, impecable draw, and flavor, flavor, flavor! Whatever the cubans have been doing, I say keep it up. Smooth, spicy, balanced, and perfect! Loads of leather, light cedar, and sweet spice. That flavor that Vitamin N couldn't identify was probably light caramel. Smoke fills the mouth without any effort at all and leaves behind a taste I didn't want to ruin with 30 year old scotch. My taste buds are singing! A perfect 10 (a first) and this from a guy that doesn't like rubustos! I am ordering another box as soon as I finish typing. Wish I could afford a dozen.

Review Notes: I read this somewhere..."Just go buy a box". This was great advice. I have been smoking robustos for years and this is the BEST one I have found. I prefer it to the other two great cuban robustos, the partagas Serie D no.4 and the Cohiba. This cigar is smooth right out of the gat and stays that way. About an inch in the first flavors of light leather kick in with a light flavor of wood. About halfway through, look out here come more flavorful nuances of leather and wood with another light flavor that I can't quite describe except to say breadiness. So smoooth all the way until you have to put it out or get burned. Smoke this one slowly and enjoy it. IMHO, this one beats all other robustos.

Review Notes: It's all been said about this cigar. Truely a must smoke from the ISOM. As smooth as a full bodied cigar can be, with the great notes of Cuban earthiness, coffee bean, very toasty and chewy. Great draw and superb exhales from start to finish. My favorite cuban robusto to this point. Box date jul06, I've had three the next few will have to wait and the final 10 will sit over a year. I can't wait.
