Review Notes:
What can I say about the RC that hasn't been said a hundred times? The box I'm working on now is JUL06 and, yes, I am a fool to be smoking them this young. When tasting these, I can only wonder what the Bolivars of the early-90s, which I've read was the ass-kicking heyday of the brand, must've been like. As far as my box of youngsters goes, the draw is effortless, the solid box press is gorgeous, and the rich, full-bodied flavors are endlessly complex. I'd love to know what one of these will taste like a few years down the road, but who am I kidding? I haven't the discipline to leave them alone for that long.

Review Notes:
I'm half way through my first box of these and I can't get enough of them. I've smoked several other Cubans in between as well as some highly rated non-Cubans and these are probably the most intriguing. Silky, dark wrapper dripping with oil. Densly rolled and solid in the hand the construction is excellent with the traditional 3-seam cap. The first 1/4 of the cigar had a difficult draw, but eased up. Even burn with a tight grey-white flakey ash. The flavor was rich and complex, a full-bodied dynamo with tastes ranging from earth, cocoa, coffe...intensified as I smoked but never harsh - even had a creamy, spicey quality. I recommend a nice single malt and a comfotable chair. This cigar will make you light headed, so you should not be standing while you smoke it! Highly recommended...

Review Notes:
This is a cigar to have permanently in stock. Complex and good taste and consistent, good construction make this a recommendable cigar for anyone who likes cigars with a bit of a bouquet.

Review Notes:
A great cigar -- very well balanced and tasteful smoke. Has an easy draw and burns well. Predominate flavors of cedar and earth with a delicate spicy aroma that is real jaw-dropper. These are perfect right off the truck, 2006 release to boot. My new goto young Habano. My only complaint is that the wrapper needed occasional correction -- but with a taste and aroma like this, that's nothing. Probably the best smoke I've had this year.
