Review Notes: A strong and tasty cigar! Box code ARA DIC '02. This thick stick is draped in a lush dark chocolate wrapper with mild veining. Hefty in the hand. Solid construction without and soft spots. Easy light. Smooth draw. Even burn. No need for corrections or relights. Gray-black ash. Started with bold black pepper, spice and earth. The first third brought flavors of rich top soil, burnt dark chocolate and black cherry. The middle third had a noticeable tanginess on a background of earth and black cherry with notes of plum, warm leather, and cocoa. In the last third, the flavors intensified and introduced a charred wood note, again on an earthy foundation. All in all, this one hour smoke was a full-bodied complex powerhouse. The Vitamin N was high in this one, and I felt its lingering effects for a full hour after I nubbed it. A great stick, likely best smoked after a steak dinner than with a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning like I did. Bought a box.
