Review Notes: Just opened a JUL 05 box and had my first RC. Being a big robusto fan I have had all the Cuban brand offerings except Bolivar, that is until now. I may have saved the best until last. It was certainly the richest and strongest. They look great. Perfect construction and presentation with plume already forming. It was strong but smooth with lots of smoke. As good as CoRo and RASS (my current favorites) while offering a real distinguishably different and complex taste profile. Hearty and chewy richness, but never harsh. It is strong and you will feel it for a while. The draw was a little firmer than I like & I had to relight it once. Needs more time in the humi, but at this point on this fairly young box I was very impressed. If you like full-bodied smokes this is as good as it gets.

Review Notes: These cigars always seem to have very lush draws that billow out tons of smoke with every puff. The cigar has a woody flavor that develops and builds as you smoke, and tends to have a little spice toward the end. Not as good as a HDM#2 or PSD#4 but still a fine addition to the Havana robustos.

Review Notes: The Bolivar RCs, with appropriate aging, give you everything you'd want from a top notch cuban smoke: full bodied, tangy complex flavors in a perfectly constructed package.

Review Notes: If there Ever were a stick to enjoy with a great backyard BBQ THIS IS IT! My personal choice in the bolivar family, this robusto allows copius amounts of thick creamy smoke, seemingly more than other robustos. Generally soft in the hand but rolled tight enough that you have enough time to enjoy, and don't have to worry about re-lights between bites either. Obviously Bolivar, with all it's trademark characteristics of chocolate and espresso...and it strangely compliments traditional american BBQ foods so well, I can't have one without the other!
