"A very nice Cuban that's ready to smoke now!"

Review Notes: I've recently come to enjoy Cuban cigars but have a difficult time just looking at them for a year or more as is sometimes required. This baby is ready to smoke right now, of course it can get better but it's read to go! Somewhat rough looking when compared with fine non-cubans but you expect that going in. Light up and burn were nearly perfect with one touch up required 2/3rds in. Draw was nice and easy with voluminous amounts of creamy smoke, more than I typically see from a Cuban. It's very spongy in the mouth. Wrapper is very strong, held up nice as I chomped on it a bit. While it had that Cuban twang, it definitely didn't get me buzzed like a Montecristo does. Lots of cream throughout and vanilla and cocoa notes come and go. This would be a great morning or afternoon cigar and then perhaps something a little stronger after dinner. This cigar offers a nice value when compared with Partagas and Montecristo. A classic!

"Great Cigar, Great Size"

Review Notes: What a cigar....The wrapper is strong with no real visable veins. The burn was even and I didn't have to relight at all the first 4 sticks I smoked out of a 06 Box. They really don't have to mature, because the taste is smooth, no harshness or difficultty pulling. I'm glad I have another 20 to smoke!!

"No hype here - this one is for real"

Review Notes: This was a very good cigar. Everything about it was top-notch. The construction was perfect and the flavor was terrific. I found it to be somewhat earthy with lots of tea, but notes of all kinds of flavors jumped in and out throughout the smoke, including nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cocoa. It was full flavored, yet refined and sophisticated; never overpowering. Truly an excellent cigar.
