Review Notes:
One word describes Bolivar's 2005 churchill for me: inconsistency. My first smoke of five (I got a 5-pack from cigarbid dot com) was flat, sleepy (or rather 'sleep inducing'), and anything but complex. After just a short time in the humi (a few weeks at best), the second was amazing, with the smoked meat/ peppery start of a Torano and unexpected finishing spice of an El Rey del Mundo maduro. The third? Bland as shoe-leather, and nothing like the second. At first I thought it was the age of the first, being out of the humi during shipment... nope. The cigars are sometimes great, sometimes bland, so I'm thinking it's an inconsistency of the make. If you get that one good one, it's a 9.5 to 10 on my list... but if you get the more common bland, not-complex one? well, that's the ranking I'm giving here - not bad, but not the best I've had - value is good for what you get, and sure it looks pretty, but I buy cigars to smoke and not to sit and look at them... All said and done, it's a good (not great, just good) everyday or morning cup-o-joe smoke, if I could give an overall exoerience of '7.5' I would.
