Review Notes: I really wasn't eager to get or expecting too much from the'05, but curiosity and a few good reviews caused me to get a fiver to try. Looks a little rugged with lumps and bumps. Hints of Drew Estates Dirt flavors just not near that degree. It tastes like a cigar with multiple flavors instead of a potpourri disguised as a cigar. I think I tasted coconut at one point along with meat, clove, cinnamon, leather, and maduro flavors. The cigar's strength progressed nicely becoming stronger and spicier approaching half way. The thick wrapper tended to burn slower than the filler requiring a touch up or three. The finish is smooth and tasty leaving the flavors on the tongue. A very good $3 smoke but I expect more for $6.

Review Notes: One word describes Bolivar's 2005 churchill for me: inconsistency. My first smoke of five (I got a 5-pack from cigarbid dot com) was flat, sleepy (or rather 'sleep inducing'), and anything but complex. After just a short time in the humi (a few weeks at best), the second was amazing, with the smoked meat/ peppery start of a Torano and unexpected finishing spice of an El Rey del Mundo maduro. The third? Bland as shoe-leather, and nothing like the second. At first I thought it was the age of the first, being out of the humi during shipment... nope. The cigars are sometimes great, sometimes bland, so I'm thinking it's an inconsistency of the make. If you get that one good one, it's a 9.5 to 10 on my list... but if you get the more common bland, not-complex one? well, that's the ranking I'm giving here - not bad, but not the best I've had - value is good for what you get, and sure it looks pretty, but I buy cigars to smoke and not to sit and look at them... All said and done, it's a good (not great, just good) everyday or morning cup-o-joe smoke, if I could give an overall exoerience of '7.5' I would.

Review Notes: I picked up two of these about three months ago. I smoked one right away and was very dissapointed. Poor construction, required three relights and a re-cut, and had a very dull taste. This afternoon on the links i lit up the second one and was amazed. It had a very meaty flavor to begin and about a 1/3rd through turned creamy. It had an excellent draw and burned very evenly. The first was hopefully a fluke because i just ordered a box.

Review Notes: Construction on this one was much better than the tubed robusto. Great aroma, and a steady buildup from a medium bodied leather at the start to a full bodied spice at the end. This San Agustin wrapper is a real treat, but I think the Punch Gran Puro blend uses it to better effect. Not a lot of complexity here, but it's a solid everyday smoke. Take the band off unless you're posing for a General Cigar commercial or trying to get rescued.

Review Notes: this was alright. looked very good on first glance. gorgeous wrapper if u ask me. pretty light draw was perfectly firm. it burned pretty decently, some uneven spots. honestly, the flavor wasn't there for me, at all...it was pretty flat. a little bit of pepper at the end, maybe a little meaty.
