Review Notes: As the title says, this is a bold and full-flavored cigar. An A-1 wrapper and perfect const., this is a trouble free smoke. The first inch or so I'm picking up a red wine aspect, very nice. The red wine fades and is replaced by leather and oak, along with a nice mild spice. This is a full-flavored cigar, but not over powering, at least two notchs down from a Joyo de Nicaragua Antano 1970, a full on muscle cigar. The Bolivar's I bought have yellow celophane, a sure sign a well aged cigar.

Review Notes: for clarity: this is the Bolivar Cofradia. Only two months in the box. nice dark wrapper, also nice feel. fells well filled and no bumps. lit nicely with good draw. copious smoke, smooth and medium body at the outset. burn is wavy but didn't require touchup, ashed at 2" for convenience. midway flavor moving to full with some added complexity. a little hard to pin down, certainly not just a sweet maduro (not that there's anything wrong with that). for me this certainly isn't an everyday cigar, but after a rich meal it paired very well with a black coffee. not quite as strong as oliva v or other ligero blends, but an excellent flavor profile a little out of the ordinary. I can't wait to see how these ripen in the box. Would highly recommend to newer smokers wanting to try fuller bodied cigars; just pick a time when you can enjoy it, definitely not on an empty stomach.

"Very Nice and Smooth"

Review Notes: Difficult to find any shortcomings with this cigar. An interestingly easy and smooth maduro, yet quite a plethora of flavors and complexity. Shows off a slightly veiny dark brown wrapper. Has a nice, mellow pre-light aroma of leather, coffee and earth. Holds a nice long and tight white-black mottled ash. Burn is impeccable with a medium draw, even and strong burn. Only one slight touch-up needed. Flavor profile seemed to change constantly which was very interesting. One draw would reveal earth and charred oak, the next chocolate and coffee, the next a bit of leather and spice. Gave off a very aromatic smoke in addition. Remained smooth and easy smoking down to the nub. For $2.75 per stick this is a wonderful smoke!

Review Notes: One of the very best cigars I have ever smoked! Great construction, smooth - not ever harsh, great flavor! I just wish I could afford them more often.

"Good stash."

Review Notes: I put these in the bottom of one of my igloodors and forgot about them. I bought them 2 years ago and probably haven't smoked one in a year or more. It's time to enjoy them now. They are smooth and tasty/toasty. Flavors of leather, earth and a flinty note make an enjoyable mix. Good spice, med-full body and a straight burn make this a winner. At around $2.70 a stick by the box, they're worth the wait.
