Review Notes: I liked this one...but at the price, you can do better with a Sancho Panza for example. Nothing to complain about, just nothing outstanding. A couple in the box so far with a tough draw. Can't complain, just can't rave. A little sweet, not one-dimensional in flaovr, but not complex either.

Review Notes: This is an OK cigar, marked for me by the collision of two opposites. It is very flavorful, and with some very nice flavors, but it lacks richness and subtlety. I kept wanting more form it...more smoke, more volume, more richness and creaminess. It refused to budge. It happily offered up a nice inoffensive mix of coffee and cocoa, but that was it. Nothing more, nothing less. Kind of a shame in such a big bold shape and label. On the construction side it was very nice, obviously well rolled, firm and even from end ot end, and a respectable burn. I just kept wishing it was more than it was.

Review Notes: Full-on cocoa and earthy start, turning milder and toasty. Good 50 minute burn and even ash. The only detraction is the "stinky stogie" aftertaste, which took almost a day to go away. Otherwise a quite outstanding cigar. I'll probably try another in the line to see if the aftertaste is just an artifact of the Gol!

Review Notes: Newbie to the cigar world. Tried the Gol on a whim. Was expecting a brutal experience with a "full body" smoke. Pleasently surprised. Spent an hour and a half with this one. Good character, lots of smoke, subtle complexity, good draw and a fairly even burn. I'll go back to this one when I've got more experience!

Review Notes: this is an ok cigar and worth a try but i really like the italia much better. the oils are good and it is a pretty strong cigar but somewhat disappointing.
