Review Notes: Had a five pack in my humidor for over 11 months and decided to give it a try last night. I’m not a big fan of full body, full flavored cigars, but I could learn to love this one! Bold and very, very complex! Even on the after taste! Had some bitter notes on the finish.

Review Notes: The CAO Brazilia Gol is just one of those cigars that everyone serious about cigar smoking has to try. CAO is one of the big boys in the business and you can be assured that by trying one of their cigars you've had one of the more famous on the market. Now, on to the Brazilia. The cigar is beautiful to behold. Its near jet black and oily Brazilian wrapper is slightly veiny but gorgeous. The pre-lit draw is very sweet with a core of rich dark earth. The burn on most of these cigars is nearly perfect and the solid light grey ash tends to hang on for a long time. This must be one of the most naturally sweet cigars I've had, but unlike many other maduros, the Brazilia is very mellow with no detectable spicyness. The cigar is not overly complex. Sweet dark earth is punctuated with hints of leather and cedar. The flavor is usually good beyond the band to about 1 1/2 inches before it gets too hot. Overall the large ring size keeps the smoke cool. Its full body makes it the perfect after dinner smoke. The price varies, and is the one downside to this cigar. I've seen them as low as $3.50 and as high as $9. Scoop them up on sale. I would recommend the Brazilia to every serious cigar smoker. Whether or not one likes them, it does provide a standard against which other cigars can be experienced.

Review Notes: This is one of those cigars that you wish you could buy by the truck load so you know your going to have enough to keep you for a while. I am very much impressed with the taste of this stick. it has a rich fullness to it that is very enjoyable I did however have a burn issue, it just didn't want to burn straight for me. That is something I can live with as long as it stays lit and keeps it's flavor. which it did so I am not that bothered by the canoeing. I did have to touch it up a couple of times though so that will take away from it's over all points I give it.

Review Notes: Pretty close to the perfect maduro. In the past, I have had trouble with burn issues with this cigar, but this one was perfectly constructed and burned razor sharp all the way through. Deep, complex, full body. Full, but always mellow and smoked cool.
