Review Notes: Gifted from a friend, I tried one this weekend. I like the torpedo shape, and am always up for something new... And maduro wrappers look so enticing. The aroma was faint-- somewhere near fermented cow patty (yep) with dark chocolate and a smell of something 'petro' that reminded me of paint from model airplanes as a kid. The wrapper looked a bit mottled but maduros do that sometimes. I'd like to see one of these as it comes off je line... I bet they have life. Anyway, the draw was perfect and the burn was sharp. It's amazing to see such a dark wrapper become such a white ash. As for flavour, there was little. Something close to dry dark chocolate without any acidity or real sweetness, and whisps of the fermented barnyard and Petro. I took to exhaling though the nose to probe for more flavour... maybe a bit of wood. In all, although it was clean on the palate and not really objectionable, I can't find much of a journey in this cigar. Nicely made, CAO, but a bit of a wallflower in a black silk shirt. Where's the sexy Brazilian I was hoping for?

Review Notes: The fit and finish on this one is very nice. Constructed well with a nice dark wrapper. Although the pull was sometimes difficult, especially after the mid point. The first third was uneventful. Mild spice, bordering on bland. Second third was pleasant with mild sweetness accompanied by a cedar note. Occasionally a chocolate note would sneak in. The last third was pretty much the same as the second, just a little more intense. Not much else to say. I didn't waste the hour or so that I smoked, but I wouldn't write home about it. Overall, it's a par smoke, but I wouldn't splurge for a box.

Review Notes: I love this cigar! Pretty much an everyday smoker. Plus I found a spot that sells them for 98 a box! Great flavor and a all around good smoke.

Review Notes: So far the only CAO that I liked. And man did I like it. Started off very mild with a lot of spice. That went away and seemed like it might be an unremarkable mild smoke. But kept building in strength, but always remaind smooth throughout. Great burn and draw. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Review Notes: I smoked at least 5 inches worth of Samba. I must mention also that I have kept this cigar for about a year before smoking. I do advise this for all cigars, but in this case it really served to abate the spicy character of the Brazilia. Since CAO changed the blend in this line it has been somewhat less spicy anyway but it is a better cigar for it. The wrapper is sweet and toothy. Excellent, straight burn with strong gray ash and perfect draw. Buy some and put them away.
