Review Notes:
Tight draw, spicy smoke with hints of leather, nut, and... mustard??? That's the only flavor that I feel really identifies with this maduro- stoneground mustard! I've never tasted anything quite like it in a cigar. Odd. Not really even sure if I like it or not. It's not bad, just... different. I'm writing this review in real-time as I smoke it, and I can now say that the mustard overtones have given way completely now that I'm on the last third. The stick has taken on a much sweeter, silky taste, with the peppery undertones that are more familiar to me in a thick maduro. The burn has been very smooth- great construction. I may try one of these again.
On the last bit now (I've been known to smoke past the band from time to time) and the flavor has taken on a very sweet, almost chocolatey palate.
Definitely going to have to try another someday. This is a very complex cigar, offering a broad spectrum of flavors throughout the experience.

Review Notes:
Seems a lot of people like this cigar, but I found it basically average. The cigar looked great- nice box press, velvet touch, and nice dark maduro wrapper. I purchased this as part of the CAO commemorative sampler, sampler cost $35 I believe, and came with 7 cigars, so I am not sure the price on this one. The cigar lit easily and the burn was very even. The draw was too tight for my taste though. Also, the ash seemed to come off too fast for a box press cigar. The taste was one-dimensional and mild. Maybe I just like more spice, but this cigar bored me pretty quick. I would rather have a 5 Vegas "A" any day of the week over this CAO.

Review Notes:
I've smoked at least half the cao line, so I pretty much know what to expect as far as taste goes, and if you are fairly familiar with cao, this cigar is not too different than what you'd expect. Great look and feel to it, box pressed, dark, good pre-draw. It had a good coffee taste that tapered off towards the end. Didn't finish off great and I dropped it before I wanted to. An average maduro and an average cao.

Review Notes:
I picked up two of these from a local B&M and was looking forward to a great smoking experience. However, I was very disappointed. When cutting, the cap flew off!The burn was uneven and canoed badly. The ash was dark grey and black. The smoke was dry and bitter. About 1/2 way through things started to taste better. I'm assuming this was a bad stick and I'll let the other rest for a few months. Hopefully, it will be a better. experience.

Review Notes:
Good looking maduro - oily, box-pressed, firm. Easy draw and lots of smoke, typical of CAO. Flavor started off with hints of cocoa and coffee, creamy. Hit a dull spot about 1/2 way through followed but that gave way to strong spice and pepper. Only negative was the uneven burn, some tunneling. Very good cigar for the money.
