Review Notes: You'll be hard pressed to find such a great smoke at this price point. I picked up the La Traviata at my local B&M this weekend. The wrapper was superb. Had just the right amount of sheen. Very fragrant odor of sugar plums/currant. The ash was tight and white, even burn line, with a even draw. You could see more oil develop from the heat on the foot. This stick produced tons of smoke at both ends. Surprisingly for the amount of smoke it gave off it took me 1.5 hours to smoke. The flavor almost reminded me of the Oliva Serie V. However in contrast to the Serie V this cigar had a bit more sweetness than spice as well as an easier draw. Intermittently you would catch a hint of leather at the beginning of every 1/3 section. (Think pickled ginger with sushi) The occasional overpowering of leathery spicyness was a nice suprise that kept your attention and made the sweetness more pleasing throughout the majority of the cigar. I'd be surprised not to see this on the Aficionado top 25 list for 2010. Great smoke I'd suggest you pick one up before they get to popular.

Review Notes: First off lemme say that I love this stogie. Its come to be one of my go to cigars. That being said.....The CAO La Triviata is a very attractive stog....it has a shinny sheen to it that I've rarely seen. It starts off with a very nice spicey/ hickory woody flavor that will remain consistent troughout the cigar. About half way through I got some leathery notes along with notes of a cedary flavor. It pretty much remains consistent to the nub. These cigars are a great value....great price point (I paid 4.25 for the Divino or robusto size.. 5- 50). Give it a try....u wont be dissapointed.
