Review Notes:
A beautiful cigar with a nice tan wrapper with little veining. A nice torpedo with a triple cap that draws just right (i.e. not too easy). The smoke is initially spice that wonders into woody cedar and almost sweet. The spice comes back at the end with a nice powerful finish. You will not be board with this cigar. Very Good.

Review Notes:
This is a true Belicoso Fino (5.25 x 52) coming to a subtle tappered slightly blunt tip. Not the pointed arrowhead of a torpedo. This cigar is more dignified and graceful. The wrapper is lighter than I would have expected. A yellowish tan very light. Its smooth and without oils. There is minimal veining. The band is a light tan, pale in color with a caligraphy C bordered by Cuba on one side and the word Miami on the other. The color of the band complements the wrapper nicely.
The roll is solid and uniform and the cigar provides a subtle barnyard scent. The initial puffs are smooth with subtle spice and wood. There is a twanginess to this cigar that if blindfolded I would have guessed it to be Cuban. This isn’t a citrus note, its down right twang!! The initial flavors of this cigar remind me of a Bolivar Royal Corona.
There is a nice smoke volume and while I wouldn’t call the smoke thick, its full and coating. There is spice, wood and twang!
After the first inch, the twanginess subsided (too bad) and the cigar developed a slight cedar taste to mix with the wood and spice. The burn is slightly uneven, but not detrimental yet.
Toward the end of the first third, I occasionally detected an almost fruity taste on the finish. The aroma is not strong, but sweet and also slightly fruity. Every now and then that wonderful twangy flavor would emerge.
Entering the second third, I’m detecting a slight loamy taste. This cigar is truly fantastic! The twanginess emerges every now and then.
The finish is clean and short with a subtle spice and sweetness. This is a smooth cigar, not harsh but full flavored and medium strength.
The burn has straightened out and the cigar produces a solid med gray ash. I don’t know if this cigar has a tremendous amount of age on it, but I’m in love!
The last third picked up a bit more spice and cedar notes. This is truly a fantastic smoke.

Review Notes:
My first Cabaiguan. Surprised to find it muddled and tart for the first inch, but then it settled into a tasty groove. Medium body, more complex than the Pepin blends of comparable strength, such as the CI Yellow and Achilles. Creamy texture, with vanilla, toast, leather, nuts, and caramel in superb balance. BUT... I'm put off by the relative value. $9 at my B&M, or 3x what I've been paying for the CI Yellow and the Achilles. That took a little of the fun out of it for me, frankly. It stacks up well against other smokes in the $9 range, but I think I've been spoiled rotten by the cheaper Pepins.

Review Notes:
An awesome smoke. Great roll. Smooth draw. A lot of complex flavors. Sweet Ecuadorian wrapper. Lots of earthy tastes from the start. After the first third some hints of nuts and cream are noticeable. Very well balanced flavors.
A nice cream like aftertaste. A solid medium bodied full flavor smoke.

Review Notes:
This was my weekend to try something new, so I went to my tobacconist and this was his recommendation. I will say this is one beautiful cigar!!! Very smooth Ct. wrapper with a firm body. The head cut clean with my XiKar and the pre-light experience, well I couldn't wait. Upon firing I got a nice spicy experience, which went away except for the background. The cigar produced a ton of smoke (I love it) and burned evenly throughout. The cigar had a smooth, rich, pleasant woody taste throughout, except in the middle I was surprised with an earthy background (although it only lasted a short time). It was a cool burning cigar till the last 1-1/2" when it got a little hot, so I let it smoke itself for a couple of minutes, came back and finished this bad boy off (1/2" left). This was fresh off the shelf so I can't wait to buy a couple (at least)and let them rest in my humi.
