Review Notes: I have never had a cigar as satisfying as the cabaiguan. This line has a delicious spice, clove, cinammon, nutmeg combined with little of that cuban twang. As good a smoke as I have ever had. Great construction and perfect burn, a taste profile that made me almost want to eat the cigar instead of smoking it.

Review Notes: I have started to burn up the rest of my stash. The down-time in the humi has done wonders. Mild to maybe medium bodied w/ great muted flavors of floral notes, nuts and clove-like spices. This is the quintessential EVERYDAY smoke for me. Construction is consistent and burn is always spot on. Highly recommended. At 5.50 per stick it's the best I can ask for.

Review Notes: Pete Johnson and Pepin is a marriage made in heaven. This is a near perfect cigar, well worth the $7 price tag. Prelight cedar and cinnamon. Perfect, even burn. Firm salt and pepper ash (maxed out at 1.5 inches!). The taste was consistent throughout the stick. It only changed when I reached my fingers. ;)

Review Notes: a cigar with perfect construction. Nice even burn all the way to the nub. This cigar is not short on flavor either. Beautiful aroma with lots of smoke per draw. I will be picking up more of these. I cant wait to try the belicoso finos. These are a little pricey but worth every penny.

"Pepin rules"

Review Notes: As we all know, Pepin has sort of become the god of cigars, I think the tatuaje line is probably the best cigars you can find today, but you've got to be willing to pay for them. The Cab line is no exception, it's expensive but worth it. This cigar is milder though than other DP's and had a lighter shade Ecaudorian wrapper. It doesn't look or taste like the Tatuaje lines. The aroma coming off this thing is amazing. I almost didn't want to light it. Has a great fairly complex taste of spice, nuts, sugar, a little grass, just about everything. Unlike most cigars this one doesn't cut out on flavor after the first inch, either. Mellows out a little, but for the most part really holds together, which is a sign of a high-quality cigar. Construction is typical Pepin quality. You won't find many problems in this area with his cigars. However these things aren't cheap. I wish they'd knock the prices down a couple bucks, but I won't count on it. There is a petites size though which is around $3.50 if you can find it. All in all another Pepin classic he can add to his long list.
